We ship heat sensitive, perishable products shipped during warm-weather days or to warm-weather regions in insulated boxed, with ice and cold shield. This product/service covers incremental costs for 2nd Day or Overnight Shipping, in case you selected Ground Shipping during checkout. We require expedited shipping to all areas outside the 1 Day shipping zone based on our Washington DC location.

With expedited shipping, your orders with perishable sausages, cheese, chocolates or pretzels will likely arrive at cool temperatures for up to 24 hours (rare exceptions may occur in extreme hot temperature zones. We reserve the right to delay shipments to areas with extreme temperatures).

You must be present at your home during the delivery of perishable products. Even insulated boxes left in front of the door in warm temperatures will result in potential product damage.

Please note that almost all our perishable products are pre-cooked or smoked. They can be refrozen.
